The introduction of online gambling in New Jersey officially just a month ago was seen by many as a huge step towards legalised online gambling in the US. If the first month is any indication to go by, citizens of New Jersey have been long awaiting the return of online gambling.

In just over a month the New Jersey online gambling market has already attracted over 125,000 players to create new online gambling accounts. According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) this official number sits at 126,231 which equates to an increase of 16,285 over the previous week.

Just a week into online gambling operators were officially allowed to operate on 26 November, 50,000 online gamblers had registered for an account in the garden state. With online gambling in full swing in New Jersey the total number of states offering regulated online gambling to their citizens is three, which includes Nevada and Delaware.
