PokerStars officials have announced that for the first time ever their corporate home of the Isle of Man will be made a stop in the upcoming United Kingdom Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT).

The event will run from 30 October to 4 November and will feature £1,100 buyin Main Event with a £500,000 guarantee. The event will however also allow players to get a first hand, never seen before look behind the curtains of the poker giant. PokerStars is planning an Open House, during which they will offer guided tours of the PokerStars facilities in Onchan as well as tours of the PokerStars massive server facility where every online hand is dealt.

Another unique feature of the Isle of Man stop of the PokerStars UKIPT will be that employees of the poker giant will be allowed to join in. This means that employees will be, if they choose to do so, able to play in any and all events at the Isle of Man leg including the Main Event.
